We are excited to invite you to participate in Skilled Trades Ontario’s second Ontario Apprenticeship Summit on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Toronto Congress Centre.
This year’s summit will celebrate the agency’s most significant milestone achievements and offer insight into current activities and future priorities. The event presents a thoughtfully designed and impactful agenda relevant to government partners, industry leaders, and the skilled trades community.
Since launching our three-year strategic plan in May 2023, STO has been focused on creating rewarding careers in the skilled trades and improving the apprenticeship system to make it more accessible, user-friendly, and responsive. The summit will discuss STO’s role as the first point of contact for apprenticeship registrations, completions, and certifying exams. This is a significant step in smoothing the apprenticeship journey - reducing bureaucracy and ensuring that the system works for everyone.
With over 350 expected attendees, the Ontario Apprenticeship Summit will offer a unique opportunity to collaborate towards a shared goal: inspiring a skilled trades workforce.
